Well we made it back! This is without doubt something I will remember for the rest of my life! Seeing the heart of a major US city destroyed around me was amazing! I have a new respect for hurricanes.. Here is a link to the photo gallery, I will have video up soon.

Sorry for not having anything to post on the site! This summer has been uber lame! Gustav brought a few tornado warnings to SW MO but they where impossible to chase, I have some pics in the photo gallery of a nice rainbow. WOW!

Hurricane Gustav 9-1-2008

Well Gustav made landfall near Cocodrie, Louisiana. After injuring and killing many in the Caribbean Gustav made land fall along the gulf coast of the US. I’m still kicking myself for not going! I’m now setup to stream live video from the chase vehicle. That sure would have been cool! The one thing you can count on as a storm chaser is more storms!!

Chase Vacation

The chase vacation really went well, we say between 4 and 6 tornadoes from a large wedge to a tiny rope. My pictures suck, I just upgraded to a new HD video camera so I was trying to get a custom to it. Needless to say most of the video sucks!
